The Grandfather brings a unique brand of metal out of Wake Forest, NC. The four piece has been holed up in their studio working on a new batch of chaotic metal tracks and they have just revealed the brand new song,”Tomb.”
Last year the band put out an EP titled 1222. (You can read my review of that record HERE)
Fans of the EP are going to love “Tomb” as The Grandfather ups the intensity, delivering a solid rock n roll groove with all sorts of hard rock attitude. The grinding guitar work, mounting tension and release, and impressively vicious vocals are elements reminiscent of early Zao.
Give “Tomb” a listen, download it, and share it around!

“Tomb” will be followed up by another new track that we can look forward to checking out in about a month. This two part release makes way for a full-length album release slated for late Fall.
Keep up with The Grandfather
